About Us
25 Years of Fresh Fish.
A New Chapter Begins.
Michelle has been selling the finest fresh fish and seafood in North Essex for 25 years — but the story doesn't start at the stall. It starts out at sea, long before dawn.
Michelle's husband is a local Harwich fisherman who heads out on his boat in the early hours of the morning, fishing the North Essex and Suffolk coast for whatever the sea offers up that day. Much of what lands on Michelle's stall is caught locally by his own hand — which is about as fresh as fish can possibly be.
After 25 incredible years at Ramsey, Michelle has found a wonderful new home at Wallis's Farm Shop & Butchers in Tendring, joining a community of fellow quality local producers. What you buy here isn't a supermarket product that's travelled hundreds of miles — it's fish that was swimming in the North Sea days, sometimes hours, before it reaches you.
